2012 Share Tips
This is the time of year when the financial magazines (Investors Chronicle, Shares etc.), brokers, newspapers and share tipsters suggest what shares we should all be buying for 2012.
You can trawl through the various newspapers, magazines and websites to find these 2012 share tips, or you can keep an eye on the 2012 share tips section of the ShareTips365 website. It’s being updated regularly as these 2012 share tips are announced.
First purchases this week are Stobart Group (STOB) and Cable & Wireless Communications (CWC) which both go ex-dividend on Wednesday.
STOB were picked up for 119.9p, they pay a 2p dividend on 9th December. Forecast dividend payment for year ending 28 February 2012 is 6.07p which represents a yield of 5.06% based on today’s buying price.
CWC are due to pay a dividend of 2.67¢ on 12 January 2012. Forecast yield for year ending 31 March 2012 is 11.9%

After the chaos that has reigned on the World’s stock markets over the last few days, it’s nice to be able to report that the FTSE 100 is down ONLY 4.55 points (0.09%) a the time of writing.
The Dow Jones ended its session up 429.92 points (3.98%) last night and the Nasdaq up 124.83 (5.29%).
In Tokyo the Nikkei 225 finished up 94.26 at 9038.74 (a more modest 1.05%).
So what of the FTSE?
