Before I start, I should say that perhaps dilemma isn’t quite the right word. A dilemma is “a problem offering two possibilities, neither of which is practically acceptable”.
I bought into BP back in July 2010 (before I started the Amateur Investor blog) after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill had hit the shares for six. Shares had shed over 50% of their value, dropping from over 650p to around 300p.

I bought into United Utilities earlier this week for the yield. And today I increased that holding with a further purchase at 603.33p bringing muy average buying price down from 617p to 604.7p
I’m keen to buy more United Utilities shares, and will be watching the share price closely with a view to further purchases around the 540p level.
RSA Insurance Dividend
A nice dividend from RSA appeared in my trading account today. I’ll be looking to invest it tomorrow.

I came up with an ambitious plan earlier this week while compiling a list of income events like dividend payments and bank interest.
You know how the Amateur Investor loves income from savings and dividends – well what if I could receive at least one dividend or interest payment every day. Wouldn’t it be great to receive money every day!
